The patient portal is a convenient way to communicate with your provider. It is not for urgent or emergent messages. Welcome ! Metro Community Health Center is a non-profit Health Center serving the local communities of Wilkinsburg, Swissvale and Edgewood as well as the general community of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County.

What is Metro Family Practice?

Formerly known as Metro Family Practice, we wanted our name to reflect our interest in the health and well-being of the community. Under a comprehensive family practice model, our health center incorporates a team based health care approach which enables streamlined care to each patient.

Where does Metro Health serve?

We serve the neighborhoods of Swissvale, Wilkinsburg, Braddock, the greater Pittsburgh area, and all people who come to us. At Metro, our providers collaborate with each other to treat every aspect of a patient’s health, all under one roof.

Dentistry is one of the essential services at MCHC. You can count on our dedicated and caring dental team to help you obtain optimal oral health. Our centers provide routine cleaning and many other dental procedures for children and adults. We also provide individualized attention and accommodation for those with special dental needs.
