The term pulmonary refers to conditions that affect the lungs. Asthma is a common pulmonary condition that involves inflammation of the airways which narrows them and trigger the production of increased mucus in the airways. The result is symptoms such as wheezing or difficulty breathing. Another example of a pulmonary condition would be pulmonary fibrosis which occurs when there is damage to the lung tissue that causes scarring. This may lead to shortness of breath and coughing.

Mercy Health is now offering delivery service at all retail pharmacy locations. To set up a delivery, patients and colleagues should call their pharmacy directly. The cutoff time for same-day processing is noon each day. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for delivery.
