How do I access the patient portal after I visit?

You may send your request by fax to (423) 495-4740. CHI Memorial Medical Records office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at CHI Memorial Hospital Chattanooga. What time can you stay overnight at the ER?

One visitor is welcome to stay overnight from 8 p.m. - 6 a.m. Visitors are not permitted to switch out during the 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. or 8 p.m. - 6 a.m. visitation times. Two designated visitors may accompany a patient for an outpatient test or procedure. Children under age 14 are not allowed to visit.

Can you use the lobby area in the emergency room?

Visitors must stay in the patient room, leaving only to obtain food from the cafeteria or Subway. Visitors may not use the lobby areas as lounge areas. One visitor per adult patient is welcome during a visit to the emergency room. Patients aged 0 - 17 may have two visitors.

Can you stay in the waiting area for a PUI?

Visitors will not be allowed to remain in the waiting area in between visits. For emergency surgeries and procedures, two visitors may check in after 9 p.m. No visitors for positive COVID-19 patients or those on the PUI COVID pathway.
