Pema was born and raised in Nepal, she has been living in New Mexico for 12 years and calls New Mexico her second home. She lives in Los Alamos with her husband and her cats. She enjoys educating nursing students; she also works as an adjunct faculty member at the Santa Fe Community College.
Dr. Keeley Power joined Medical Associates in 1999 after moving here from the San Francisco Bay Area. After giving birth to twins in 2003, she remained at home with them until returning to MANNM in 2015. She obtained her medical degree form the University of Southern California. She completed her Internal Medicine internship at the NoShore University Hospital- Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York before finishing her Internal Medicine residency at Kaiser San Francisco. In her spare time, Dr. Power likes to read, ski, and hopes her knees will let her return to tap dancing.
Leigh Barham is a certified family nurse practitioner. She obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Ball State University located in Muncie, IN. Prior to that she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University. Enjoy seeing patients throughout their lifespan.#N#Leigh was raised in Las Cruces, and has always considered New Mexico home. She enjoys snow skiing and spending time with her two boys.#N#Board certified, accepting new patients and all insurances, and existing Medicaid patients. Walk-ins welcome!
She received her medical degree from the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine and completed her residency at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, in Fort Gordon, GA.
Pema Tamang is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Emergency Nurse. She obtained her Master's and Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from the University of New Mexico College and Associate’s degree from Santa Fe Community College.
In 2021 she also certified to be a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
