Dr. Patrick McCabe was born and raised in Walnut Creek, CA and went to Notre Dame in Indiana for college. Knowing his interests were primarily in service and education, a professor helped him enter the university’s teaching program which assigned him to teach middle school language arts in Mobile, Alabama for two years while earning a Master’s in education. Based on many family members’ experiences working as nurses and physicians, he then pursued medical school at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He eventually returned to northern California to be close to family and complete his medical training.
Jeannie Fahlquist, MSN, APRN, FNP. Jeannie is one of our first hospitalist nurse practitioners for GI Consultants, joining the practice in 2020. She comes to Reno from Montana, but she grew up as an Air Force “brat,” having lived all over the country, including Maine, Nebraska, Texas, Colorado, and Montana.

Your initial results and procedure note will be sent to your primary care physician within two business days. If pathology was taken, it will be sent out for processing by a GI Pathologist at Inform Diagnostics.
