Matthew Halloran is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He grew up between Cincinnati, OH, Lake Mary, FL, and Cary, NC. Matthew graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with his Bachelors in the Science of Nursing. Afterwards he moved to Raleigh, NC and was a RN in an Intermediate Care Unit for 2 years. He then returned to Charlotte to work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit for the past 5 years. During that time he graduated from University of North Carolina at Wilmington with his Masters in the Science of Nursing- Family Nurse Practitioner , as he felt drawn away from bedside and to broaden the age group he served. He is also BLS and ACLS certified, as well as Certified Critical-Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)-Alumnus. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Dr. Robert Little opened the Burlington location in 1985 as a solo pediatrician. He graduated from University of NC at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and completed his residency in Pediatrics at University of NC Hospital. He merged his practice with Pediatric Associates in 2012 to continue providing excellent care to his patients. The KidzCare Pediatrics PC – Burlington consists of separate waiting area for newborn and older children, 4 kid-friendly exam rooms, and a separate triage unit which allows easy patient movement. Our Burlington office serves patients from across NC including Burlington, Graham, Mebane, Gibsonville, and Greensboro.

Our office team prides itself on running on time. Please respect the appointment times of other patients by being on time to your child’s appointment. Kindly call the office if you are running late.
We encourage patients/parents to utilize our web portal. Patients can find immunizations and lab results on the portal. Patients can also send messages to the office through the portal, although if it is an urgent problem, a phone call will get a much faster response.
For your benefit, you may make your child’s next physical appointment prior to leaving the office during the time of your child’s current appointment.
If your child is ill and you would like to have them examined by one of the doctors, please call the office and you will be given a same day appointment.
Please call our office if you need a referral. We will need the name of the consulting doctor, the NPI number of that doctor, and the date of the appointment with that doctor. Our preferred specialty consultants are often nearby our own office.
If you need your child's immunization record, you can find it on our patient portal. If you need a school form completed, please call us with the fax number of where you would like the form sent and we can fax a form for you. Kindly allow five business days for the form to be faxed.
Every patient is entitled to an annual check up. We highly suggest you make an appointment for the following year before you leave the office at the end of the annual appointment.
On the same day of your visit to our office, please check your inbox for an e-mail from “PM Urgent Care Patient Portal” with your username, a link to the portal, and instructions to set it up. Please note that the username will be unique for each patient.
