What is student health center?

The Student Health Center uses a secure and confidential online system which allows currently enrolled students to view appointments and their electronic health information, message a provider and more.

Where can I get lab tests at SJSU?

If you're an enrolled SJSU student, come to the second floor of the Student Wellness Center for primary and specialty medical care. You can see a doctor to treat an illness or injury, pick up prescriptions at the pharmacy, and even get lab tests and x-rays.

Does SJSU require health insurance?

Health insurance is not required to visit the Student Wellness Center if you are enrolled as a student at SJSU. The Mandatory Health Fee (included with your tuition payment) includes unlimited primary care visits at no additional charge. Some additional services may require a nominal fee, which can be paid online.

We offer a complete range of diagnostic imaging studies to support you and your physician in making important decisions about your health. Preparation instructions are included in the drop-down menu below, categorized by study. For your convenience, we can also mail instructions after scheduling your appointment (upon request).

If you would like to schedule a diagnostic imaging appointment, you may request a date and time online, call our scheduling center at 530.243.1297, or contact your referring physician to schedule an appointment on your behalf.#N#Please note: For your convenience, no appointment is necessary for X-rays.
