Mass General Brigham Patient Gateway is a secure and convenient online tool that allows patients to: Currently, most primary care physicians and many specialists at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), Dana Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) are using Mass General Brigham Patient Gateway.
Setting up your personal Mass General Brigham Patient Gateway account is simple. A request form asks you to provide basic information: your name, gender, birth date, telephone number, email address, home address, and your Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital health care provider (s).
Mass General Brigham may also share such information with third party service providers whose services and/or materials are accessible through Patient Gateway to enable such third parties to provide those services and materials to you.
We offer patient education videos and health classes and wellness programs on a broad range of topics. We also have established special programs. Mass General Brigham provides complimentary shuttle rides to sites across the health system and the Greater Boston area.
How to schedule an appointment through Patient Gateway: Log in to Patient Gateway. Click the “Appointments” tab, then select “Schedule an Appointment”. Follow the prompts to select an appointment time that works best for you. Once you’ve completed all the prompts, your appointment will be scheduled.
Using the Apple Health App. iPhone® users receiving care at Massachusetts General Hospital and all other Mass General Brigham entities can now use the Apple Health app to access and visualize key parts of their current health records, including allergies, conditions, immunizations, labs, medications, procedures and vitals.
Connecting with your doctor’s office has never been easier. Through Patient Gateway, you can: 1 Check lab and imaging results, as well as letters and other reports from your providers 2 Access your health information from a non-Mass General Brigham institution if they are using the same electronic health record vendor (known as Epic) 3 Send non-urgent messages to your provider’s office 4 Request and view appointments, or make your own appointments (available at select offices) 5 Receive summaries of your visits 6 View, update or renew medications 7 Pay your medical bills online 8 Browse a library of trusted health information 9 Update your contact information 10 Complete questionnaires prior to your next visit 11 If applicable, enroll as a proxy representative when caring for a loved one or minor 12 Go green and conserve paper

Link your Mass General Brigham Health Records from organizations outside Mass General Brigham.
You will receive notification through Patient Gateway when your provider adopts the new functionality that allows you to request your medical records online. As always, you will continue to be able to request your records by filling out a form provided by your hospital or provider.
