What is urgent care?

Urgent care clinics offer a broader scope of services than many primary care providers. Unlike emergency rooms urgent care centers are not open 24 hours a day. Urgent care is for injuries that are severe enough to require immediate attention, but typically not life-threatening.

Should I go to an urgent care center?

You should go to an urgent care center when your injury or ailment is not that severe, and you can head to your nearest urgent care center. You will find that urgent care centers costs are much more reasonable and the level of service and wait times are far superior to the average emergency room.
