How many family members can be at the bedside of a patient?

Two family members and/or legal representatives may be permitted at the bedside of any patient who is actively dying, or whose death is anticipated within less than 24 hours. The patient or the family/caregiver may designate up to two support people.

Can a child be allowed to visit a medical center?

Except for end-of-life situations in which the patient is the parent of a minor child, children under the age of 12 are prohibited from visitation. The Medical Center reserves the right to ask any visitor to leave if they interfere with the clinical care of the patient or other patients.
