Lamb Health Direct Primary Care is a Direct Primary Care practice. It’s a unique approach to healthcare and our patients love it. So, how are we different?
Traditional fee-for-service (FFS) clinics usually require a doctor to see over 20 patients a day. (Dr. Lamb sets a record of a whopping 50+ patients in a single day !) Since adapting direct primary care, Dr. Lamb has devoted more time for each patient, without needing to rush the appointment for his next patient.
We don't bill any insurance plans so you won’t have a middle-man in your primary care. Decisions about your healthcare will be made by you and Dr. Lamb, without the impersonal management that comes from third-party payers. Instead, patients pay a monthly membership fee which can save money and covers excellent treatment.
Lamb Healthcare Center is constantly upgrading equipment and computer software so that is can provide quality, professional health care to all of its patients. It is also evolving to meet the challenges presented by the changing healthcare environment.
The hospital, in its current location, opened on August 1, 1979 as Littlefield Medical Center, under a management contract with a national hospital operator Hospital Affiliated, Inc. Lamb Healthcare Center and LHC Family Medicine celebrated its 36th anniversary earlier this year.
