The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends well visit exams to screen for developmental progress, behavioral issues, and learning assessments at the following ages: Newborn Follow-Up Visit (2-3 days after delivery), 2 Weeks 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18 Months 2 Years 2 1/2 Years 3 Years Once a year thereafter.

Who is Ashley Boyd?

Ashley Boyd is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner who enjoys general pediatrics and has special interests in adolescent medicine and women’s health. She graduated from Middlebury College and got her masters degree at the Columbia University School of Nursing.

Who is Kelly Brush?

Kelly Brush Davisson, a Charlotte native and Middlebury College graduate , has been practicing general pediatrics since graduating from Massachusetts General Hospital's family nurse practitioner program in 2013. She enjoys all aspects of care, and has an interest in adolescent medicine and women's health. Kelly is better known as the founder of the Kelly Brush Foundation. Kelly sustained a spinal cord injury in 2006 in an NCAA ski racing accident. Since then she has built a foundation that aims to keep athletes with spinal cord injuries active and supports mountains with ski racing safety equipment and guidance. Her foundation raises over $1 million annually and supports over 600 athletes. Kelly continues to enjoy skiing, golf, and biking. She lives in Charlotte with her husband and daughter.
