Office Hours

Our goal is to work closely with your family to ensure the most attentive care for your children. For the convenience of working parents, our office is open for extended hours Monday-Thursday and over the weekend. During sick walk in, the providers see patients on a first come first serve basis.

Nurses Notes

Our nurses possess a tremendous amount of pediatric knowledge. They are our first line of triage and will be able to answer most of your questions. They work as a team with the providers and consult whenever necessary. The triage nurse is available to answer your calls during business hours.

Where is Kids First located?

For 10 years, Kids First was located in the First American Bank building on Golf Road in Skokie, best known for its large fish tank and matching decor. But with so much growth, Kids First is now in its third office in Concourse Office Plaza on the 9th floor.

The Story of Kids First. In 2004, Dr. Cathy DiVincenzo opened a tiny pediatric practice in a shared office space in Skokie. She had two weeks to start up her business, after leaving the practice where she previously worked, and no promises that patients would come.

Why Create the Kids First Data Resource Portal?

There are currently limited resources for researchers studying the underlying genetics of pediatric diseases. Cancer and birth defects represent a landscape of highly complex and poorly understood diseases.
