What is the online patient portal?

Jan 18, 2016 · Our online patient portal makes it easy for you to access information related to your orthopedic condition and care at our hospital. Following discharge from inpatient surgery at Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute, you will be provided with access to our secure patient portal. You can log into your account 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Kansas City Orthopedic Alliance Patient Portal is now LIVE! As of July 1, 2021, Dickson Diveley Orthopedics, Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Consultants and APEX Orthopedics have merged together to create the Kansas City Orthopedic Alliance (KCOA). As part of this merge, we have transitioned to a new patient portal platform.

Do we take your insurance?

We are participating providers with Aetna, Beech Street, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tricare, Medicare and many other insurance plans.

To become a new patient you must call the office at (913) 319-7600. You will be asked to provide some basic personal information and insurance coverage along with your email address.

Register for access to the patient portal

When scheduling your appointment, you will be asked to provide a personal email address if you would like access to our patient portal. Please keep in mind that this email address must be unique to you and can not be used for another patient's portal account.

To register, request a PIN number from our office by calling 913-319-7600. Please be prepared to provide a personal e-mail address, patient name and date of birth at the time of your request. Please do not send private health information in the e-mail.
