The Kaufmann Clinic provides primary health care management to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Established in 1954 by James A. Kaufmann, MD, our physicians specialize in the treatment of simple to complex medical conditions. Services include immunization, preventive care, and patient education. We have been in the Atlanta area for over 50 years.
We offer our telemedicine services available by appointment during our normal office hours Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
If you must cancel an appointment, call the office at least 24 hours in advance so that the time can be released to another patient.
Medical records are the property of the clinic. Contents are private and are released only with written consent of the patient. When consultations are done for other physicians, a written report of our findings is forwarded to the referring physician.

A new technology called SAVI SCOUT® is making lumpectomies easier for patients and surgeons by decreasing time in the hospital as well as increasing lumpectomies’ success rates. In a traditional lumpectomy, a radiologist would place a wire into the breast on the morning surgery to mark the tumor’s location for the surgeon.
The SAVI SCOUT uses a very small non-radioactive reflector and can be implanted any time before the day of surgery. During surgery, a hand-held device is used to detect the reflector’s tiny radar signal (and subsequent cancer) inside the breast.

At Cancer Treatment Centers of America ® (CTCA), we understand how difficult managing your cancer treatment may be. To help you and your caregivers navigate the complexities of the cancer journey, we offer the myCTCA patient portal, a web-based tool designed to allow you to connect with your care team, manage appointments and view medical information.
The myCTCA portal is designed to allow patients to exchange health information and medical records securely.
If you have technical issues with your my CTCA portal, call the help line 24/7 at 1-800-234-0482. This number is for technical issues only and not for medical-related questions. If you need emergency medical assistance, dial 911.
You can still reach out and speak directly with members of your care team, who will be happy to address concerns and answer questions. The portal, however, provides another option for you to communicate with your clinical team. Learn more about the Mother Standard ® of care.
