Referring providers can now reach a Johns Hopkins Medical Imaging radiologist. The Reach a Radiologist line has dedicated staff assisting with communication. Providers can ask questions about your patient’s report and review report with reading radiologists.
All images stored in the Johns Hopkins Image Archive will get an official interpretation by a Johns Hopkins radiologist. Referring physicians must complete a requisition for the second opinion consultation and provide a clinical history. Whenever possible, the image interpretation report of the outside study should be submitted.
Johns Hopkins Image Sharing is a secure website that enables users to conveniently submit images electronically to the eRadiology Center eliminating the need to physically bring a disc to one of our locations. Once images have been uploaded, the disc can be returned to the patient right away.
