IUSM requires that students retake and pass the Step 1 exam prior to returning to their clerkships. Students will be enrolled for fall 2022 once a passing score is received. Retroactive enrollment might occur based on when the passing score is received.
Students can self-enroll on Canvas. The site contains evidenced-based advice for students on preparing for Step 1 and a self-assessment to help students to consider aspects of their Step 1 preparation . Tutors are free to students and paid by the school.
