IEHP is a not-for-profit health plan that serves over 1,000,000 Members in public-sponsored health coverage programs including Medi-Cal and Medicare Special Needs Plan.
❖ Under IEHP DualChoice you can get your Medicare and Medi-Cal services in one health plan. A IEHP DualChoice care coordinator will help manage your health care needs.
If you do not get your IEHP Member ID card within a few weeks of enrolling, or if your card is damaged, lost or stolen, call IEHP Member Services right away. IEHP will send you a new card for free. Call IEHP Member Services at 1-800-440-IEHP (4347) (TTY 1-800-718-4347).
Inland Empire Health Plan works with the State of California to help you get the health care you need. Kaiser Permanente is your health care provider through Inland Empire Health Plan.
In 2022, the monthly income will increase to $1,564. In other words, an adult can earn up to $1,564 per month and still qualify for no cost Medi-Cal. MAGI Medi-Cal annual amounts for a single adult increased to $18,755, from $17,775 in 2021, for a single adult.

At Kaiser Permanente, you have a wide network of doctors and specialists to choose from. All of our available doctors accept Kaiser Permanente members with Medi-Cal coverage. Get care from a doctor or specialist – including appointments, exams, and treatment.
Emergency Rooms: As stated above, if you have an emergency and you cannot find a doctor right away, you can go to the emergency room at any hospital. If you show your BIC to staff at the emergency room, Medi-Cal will pay for the services you receive.

As long as you are eligible, Medi-Cal will cover emergency services and urgent care in another state. We will also cover emergency care that results in hospitalization in Canada and Mexico if the service is approved and the doctor and hospital meet Medi-Cal rules.

The Medi-Cal program must seek repayment from the estates of certain deceased Medi-Cal members. Repayment only applies to benefits received by these members on or after their 55th birthday and who own assets at the time of death. If a deceased member owns nothing when they die, nothing will be owed.

Waste is generally not considered to be caused by criminally negligent actions but rather by the misuse of resources.
