Residential Treatment

Our most intense level of care that includes on campus living, 24/7 support, and more than 40 hours of direct recovery services per week.

Day Treatment

The same comprehensive treatment as Residential, including individual and group counseling, without residing at our facility.

Outpatient Programs

Alternative to inpatient care designed to facilitate relapse management and coping strategies through treatment and support services.

REACH Aftercare

A peer-based aftercare program that reinforces the values learned during treatment while providing a practical application of recovery skills.

At IBHS TelePsychiatry Practice, we take a holistic approach to treat clients with a variety emotional difficulties and mental health challenges through telepsychiatry.

Comprehensive Consultation

Consists of a thorough review of medical and psychiatric history, diagnostic assessment, and recommendations for further intervention.

Please note that these services are for established patients only. Services consists of medication management (routine or extended), interventions for crisis management and collaborative family meetings.

Dr. James Harper, M.D

Dr. Harper is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist that practiced for five years in Northern Virginia in multiple settings, including hospitalization and outpatient treatment, before coming to Alabama to join IBH.

Dr. Jun Liu, M.D

Dr. Liu joined IBH after graduating from the University of South Alabama Psychiatry Residency in 2019, where she served as chief resident for her fourth year. She also worked as a moonlighting physician for Altapointe Health Systems. She obtained her medical degree at the University of South Alabama Medical School in 2015. Dr.

Katie, PMHNP

Katie has over 26 years of expertise in psychiatric and mental health nursing including; substance abuse, common child/adolescent disorders as well as acute psychotic disorders within the inpatient setting, and the forensic arena for the criminally insane.

Kelly, PMHNP

Kelly graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2014 from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2020 and became board-certified in 2021.
