Dr. Harper is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist that practiced for five years in Northern Virginia in multiple settings, including hospitalization and outpatient treatment, before coming to Alabama to join IBH.
Dr. Liu joined IBH after graduating from the University of South Alabama Psychiatry Residency in 2019, where she served as chief resident for her fourth year. She also worked as a moonlighting physician for Altapointe Health Systems. She obtained her medical degree at the University of South Alabama Medical School in 2015. Dr.
Katie has over 26 years of expertise in psychiatric and mental health nursing including; substance abuse, common child/adolescent disorders as well as acute psychotic disorders within the inpatient setting, and the forensic arena for the criminally insane.
Kelly graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2014 from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2020 and became board-certified in 2021.
