How do I sign up for mynyp HVH?

Signing up for MyNYP HVH is easy and secure. Patients who are admitted or come in for a procedure will be signed up for the portal and sent an email inviting them to create an account. Once an account is created, patients are brought to the MyNYP HVH home page for access to records and other information.

How do I sign up for a patient portal account?

In order to have a patient portal account you will need to already be a patient at this practice. Request an activation code from MAHV by calling (845) 338-7140. Click here for the Medent New Patient Sign-up page. Enter your activation code and create your account.

Is mylinks a patient portal account?

Your MyLinks account is not a patient portal account. It simply gathers your info from all the portals you’ve signed up for together in one place, at MyLinks.com. Without MyLinks, your health records would remain scattered among multiple patient portals.

How often do midwives visit?

Your visits with the midwives will occur approximately every 4 weeks until the 8th month, or 32 weeks gestation. Following visits will occur approximately at 34 and 36 weeks and then once weekly until your baby is born.

What to expect at a midwife interview?

At your interview, the midwives will listen to any personal concerns you have and inform you about midwifery care. What to expect at the hospital is discussed and your questions are reviewed. Consent forms, insurance and any financial responsibility you may have will be discussed. If the decision to go forward with us is made, you will be given access to your electronic health record so your ongoing care will be a dialogue, with you having full access and the opportunity to message us securely.If you have received prior care with another practice, transferring records relevant to the current pregnancy and any surgical reports from prior cesarean sections will be necessary and we will provide you with records release forms.

Your First Visit

We suggest that you arrive to your first appointment approximately 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment time. There are new patient information forms that you will fill out at our office. Don’t forget to bring your most current Insurance ID card, so we can easily capture your insurance information.

Billing & Insurance

We participate with most local and many national insurance plans. However it is your responsibility to understand whether your insurance has limits on the doctors you can see, or the services you can receive.
