Howard Brown Health provides vaccination, treatment, testing, and education for MPV. MPV can cause painful and potentially scarring blisters, rash, and swelling. Swelling from MPV in the mouth, throat, urethra, or anus can be extremely painful and possibly dangerous. Within one to three days after the appearance of fever, a rash develops.
To expedite receiving a letter, please complete a Release of Information form (on the website) and return to us via fax at (773) 388-3936 or email at medicalsupport@howardbrown.org . If you receive a positive test result you will be contacted by one of our contact tracers via telephone.
Howard Brown Health provides remote appointments, allowing you to access your clinical team by video consultation. This mode of care is called “telehealth” and enables you to see and speak with a provider from the comfort and safety of your own home.
