As a psychiatrist, the vast majority of my practice is prescribing medications. However the longer I have been in practice the more I have been humbled and have come to realize that treatment of most psychiatric conditions is complex.

I will usually stay within nationally recognized algorithms and treatment recommendations, making exceptions only in patients with poor response to standards treatments.
