The mission and purpose of the Hi-Desert Cultural Center is to operate a Cultural Center that provides venues, support facilities, funding, promotion, leadership, organization, innovation, education, and other resources for programs and productions whose focus is on the aesthetic arts – including the dramatic, musical, visual, and other forms of artistic expression.

Hi-Desert Medical Center has been caring for residents in the Morongo Basin for over 40 years. Serving a population of more than 68,000, Hi-Desert is the primary health provider in this expansive, mostly rural high-desert community and offers:

Cardiovascular Services at Hi-Desert

Gholam Zadeii, M.D., a cardiologist and member of the hospital’s governing board, has helped return cardiovascular services to the Hi-Desert campus. “Patients do not have to travel far for the services they need,” Dr. Zadeii said. “We also provide treatment and prevention programs for those at risk from atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat).
