Hudson Headwaters offers prompt medical care, given without an appointment, for health concerns that arise suddenly but are not life-threatening. Two of our facilities, the Health Center on Broad Street in Glens Falls and the Warrensburg Health Center have urgent care providers and exam rooms available seven days a week with evening hours. Laboratory and medical imaging (X-ray) services are available on-site.
The network serves all of Warren County and parts of Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Saratoga and Washington counties. Hudson Headwaters is the sole medical provider in much of this rural, medically underserved region. In the Glens Falls area, Hudson Headwaters is the only primary care “safety-net” provider.
The group that was to become the Hudson Headwaters Health Network started in 1974, with a single health center in Chestertown, NY. At that time, residents of neighboring towns had little or no local access to basic health services.
In 2020, the new Moreau Family Health was built and includes onsite lab and imaging services provided by Glens Falls Hospital. North Country Obstetrics & Gynecology was renovated and renamed Women’s Health. The new Ticonderoga Health Center was built as part of the University of Vermont Elizabethtown Hospital – Ticonderoga Campus to create an all-inclusive medical campus.
