What is R&D Glu/HGB?

R&D Glu/Hgb is a tri-level control used to monitor the precision and accuracy of HemoCue® Glucose 201, HemoCue® Hb 201 + and HemoCue® Hb 201 DM analyzers. The three levels of control are designed to provide values in the abnormal low, normal, and abnormal high ranges. Because the control contains erythrocytes, the total test process is verified, including the lysing reagent. R&D Glu/Hgb has 105-day closed vial stability with 30-day open vial stability at 15 - 30C (59 - 86F) or at 2 - 8C (35 - 46F) and is provided in 1.5mL plastic dropper vials.

How long is a vial good for?

Open-vial stability of 30 days at room temperature or refrigerated. Stable for 18 months from the date of manufacture if stored unopened in the refrigerator at 35-46 °F (2-8 °C). 20 tests per vial, reducing the risk of using expired product.

The TOL Patient Portal (also referred to as "TRICARE Online" or "TOL") is the current secure patient portal that gives registered users access to online health care information and services at military hospitals and clinics.

MHS GENESIS Patient Portal

MHS GENESIS is the new secure patient portal for TRICARE. It will eventually deploy to all military medical and dental facilities worldwide and replace the TOL Patient Portal.
