How do I use the Clinica patient portal messaging system?

The Clinica Patient Portal has an easy to use messaging system. Send and receive messages securely with your provider. You can also view archived messages. 1. Inbox tab: View messages sent to you by your provider or the portal system. 2. Sent tab: View messages you have sent to your provider.

Can I Share my Patient Portal health information with another adult?

Yes, FollowMyHealth® does allow you to share your patient portal health information with another adult who has a FollowMyHealth® account from within your profile. Watch this interactive video for how to add an authorized individual to view your patient portal information.

How do Lablab results show up in my Patient Portal?

Lab results will show up in your patient portal with a connection to Hendrick Medical Center for lab work done at one of our testing facilities. Is there a fee to use FollowMyHealth? No. FollowMyHealth at Hendrick is offered free of charge to all Hendrick patients.

Insurance Coverage

Prairie Clinic is able to file the majority of insurance claims directly with your insurance company if we have received all the necessary information. When you have a change in insurance coverage, our office needs to know before services are provided, in order to file your claim more efficiently.

BILLING

Our fees are comparable to surrounding communities. Our charges for service including office visits and procedures are based upon the severity and complexity of your injury or illness; as well as the time needed treating you. If you have any questions, please feel free to discuss them with us.

Medication Refills

We are happy to order medication refills prescribed by your provider when appropriate.

What is proxy access?

Proxy access is an available option for adult patients (18 years and older) and minor patients (newborn – 13 years of age). Proxy access can be granted by the patient or their legal representative by completing the appropriate Minor or Adult proxy form for review and return to: Hendrick Medical Center:

Can you send a message to a patient?

Yes, if you are an established patient of a provider you may select that provider and send a message. Often times, these messages are reviewed by a staff member in that providers office. Each message will be handled according to the processes setup by that office and do not always get reviewed by the provider.
