Even though your hospital has a new name, all of your health information and medical records are still in the same place — your patient portal — but there are different portals, depending on when you became our patient.

What is the phone number for a chaplain in the hospital?

If you need to see a chaplain right away, call extension 4153 when in the hospital. Our chaplain is in the hospital Monday to Friday from 8 am to noon. Chaplains are also available to 24 hours a week, seven days a week.

How to contact HCAPHS?

You can also ask to speak with our Risk Management department or call Call 863-419-2506. After your stay, you may also be contacted by the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAPHS).

Can you put contacts on food tray?

It is important that you do not place your glasses or contact lenses on your food tray, in your linens or in a hidden area. This may cause your glasses and/or contact lenses to be accidentally removed from your room. Please note that per our consent form, AdventHealth is not responsible for any lost items.

How to take care of a syringe?

Here, you are our partner. We want to hear your questions, concerns, goals and ideas about your treatment and care plans. Here are four ways to take charge of your care: 1 Speak up with questions and concerns 2 Pay attention to the medicine and treatments you receive 3 Educate yourself about your condition and treatment options 4 Find a support person who can help you navigate your care and be a mental, spiritual and emotional support 5 Know your meds, including dosage and frequency

Is AdventHealth responsible for lost items?

Please note that per our consent form, AdventHealth is not responsible for any lost items. Medications. Please bring a list of current medications with you to the hospital, including any herbal supplements and over-the-counter medications. Please do not bring any of the medications themselves with you to the hospital.

Can you leave hearing aids unattended?

Please do not leave your hearing aids unattended and be mindful to not place them on your food tray, in your linens or in a hidden area. This may cause your hearing aids to be accidentally removed from your room. Please note that per our consent form, AdventHealth is not responsible for any lost items.
