We provide care by appointment on the day that you call, or a day that is convenient for you. Appointments are available Monday – Friday from 8:20-11:20 am and from 1:00-4:00 pm. A UGA ID card is required to verify current enrollment and eligibility for care.
Eligible UHC patients and clients who have scheduled appointments are subject to a $20 charge for late arrival or missed appointments. This includes same-day appointments.
Students with serious but non-life threatening conditions such as lacerations, fractures, high fever or severe vomiting will be treated on Sundays during Fall and Spring Semesters from 10:00am-5:00pm without an appointment.
Healthcare services at UHC are available at reasonable costs. When a student pays the UGA health fee each semester, the cost of the visit with a provider or nurse in the Medical Clinic is included. Any labwork, xrays, medicines, supplies, or procedures are charged a modest fee.
Students visiting the health center for the first time must complete the required forms online using the UHC Patient Portal using their UGA MyID account, or bring completed paper copies to their first visit. These required forms are:

The Registration and Health Information department will be happy to assist you with transferring your health information and/or immunization records to another academic institution, physician or medical facility. You must make your request in writing. Be sure to include your nine digit UGA ID number (81#———) number and your signature.
If you request a copy of your health information to be given directly to you, there will be a charge of $.25 per page after the first four pages. For an insurance company or legal office, there is a $25.00 retrieval, copy and processing.
If you choose to authorize another person or persons to have access to your health records, you will need to fill out, sign and submit the Medical Authorization to Obtain Health Information form for PHYSICAL HEALTH information only. You can send the form to UHC or FAX it to 706-542-4959.

To get started, visit our Medical Records department on the Brunswick or Camden campus or your physician’s office* to validate your identity and provide your email address. You will receive an email invitation with our patient portal link and account set-up instructions.
