HDRS Patient Portal is LIVE! Starting on July 1st, 2014, Hawaii Diagnostic Radiology Services will be bringing their patient portal services online. Patients will now have the option to securely access their images and reports online. Some of the benefits include: 24/7 access to all exams performed at HDRS and Y&M Radiology.
Hawaii Diagnostic Radiology Services (HDRS) has developed a secure and easy to use portal for our providers to quickly access their patient's records. From there you can view images, order & schedule exams, print various forms, and many other things.
HDRS Portal User Guide - Orders Orders Creating an order is a quick and easy process. Simply fill out the patient's information, select the exam(s), and select their insurance! If the patient has been to HDRS or Y&M Radiology in the past, most of the patients demographics will be filled out.
Locally owned and operated since 1968, HDRS has the most complete and trusted outpatient imaging clinics in Hawaii.
Keeping our patients safe and comfortable is our top priority. Investing in the latest technology allows us to acquire high quality images faster for prompt accurate diagnosis. This also allows us to reduce the amount of radiation exposure for exams that utilize it.
The HDRS (also known as the Ham-D) is the most wide-ly used clinician-administered depression assessment scale. The original version contains 17 items (HDRS17) pertain-ing to symptoms of depression experienced over the pastweek. Although the scale was designed for completionafter an unstructured clinical interview, there are nowsemi-structured interview guides available. The HDRSwas originally developed for hospital inpatients, thus theemphasis on melancholic and physical symptoms ofdepression. A later 21-item version (HDRS21) included 4items intended to subtype the depression, but which aresometimes, incorrectly, used to rate severity. A limitationof the HDRS is that atypical symptoms of depression(e.g., hypersomnia, hyperphagia) are not assessed (seeSIGH-SAD, page 55).
Method for scoring varies by version. For the HDRS17, ascore of 0–7 is generally accepted to be within the normalrange (or in clinical remission), while a score of 20 orhigher (indicating at least moderate severity) is usuallyrequired for entry into a clinical trial.
