Who is Michael Slobasky?

Michael Slobasky, D.O., is the Founder of Global Neuro & Spine Institute. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is triple board certified in pain medicine, and in physical medicine and rehabilitation. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1997, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Ariz., in 2002.

Where is Michael Coyle?

Michael Coyle, being a native Floridian, inspired him to pursue his undergraduate studies at Ave Maria University where he earned a degree in Biology and Chemistry. He continued his training in South Florida by attending Nova Southeastern University in order to obtain his Master of Physician Assistant Studies. After finishing his education, Michael began working in Neurosurgery in North Florida where he became very familiar with neck and back pain, as well as evaluating and treating post-operative pain. He then continued to advance his knowledge in this field at a Level One Trauma Center in Denver, Colorado. With numerous years of experience in the clinic, hospital, and the operating room he realized that he had a passion for educating, evaluating, and treating patients with both acute and chronic pain conditions. It was this passion that pushed Michael to pursue a career in pain management. Michael takes a multi-disciplinary approach to pain that includes nutrition, physical therapy, interventional procedures, medication, bone health, and mental health. In Michael’s free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, teaching the next generation of Medical and Physician Assistant students, and enjoying the occasional basketball game or beach day.

Who is Pedro Salcedo?

Pedro Salcedo has been working in the field of pain management for greater than 10 years and he is Board-Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant studies from the Medical College of Georgia. After completing his studies, he began working in the field of Emergency Medicine in Augusta, Georgia. He then spent a few years working in the field of neurosurgery in West Palm Beach, as a first assist in both spine and brain surgery. His exposure to surgical management of neck pain and back pain prompted Pedro to transition into pain management. Prior to his career as a physician assistant he was an active duty soldier for the United States Army, where he proudly served for six years as a combat medical specialist and Licensed Practical Nurse. Pedro promotes a comprehensive approach to pain management which includes diet, weight loss, medications, and interventional procedures.

Craig Robbins was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He attended the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in English, and then ultimately returned home to graduate from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1999. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Tulane University in New Orleans in 2004.
