Mind, body, spirit … three words which require balance for our sense of health. In order to support your spiritual needs, a certified chaplain is available to any patient in the hospital. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany also provides a certified chaplain whose primary ministry is to Catholic patients. With your consent, your clergy are welcome to visit. Families should also alert their clergy directly of their hospitalization to ensure their support. At least the ER is addressing the important issues at hand.
Some might speculate that Glens Falls Hospital would be sub-par because...well...its in Glens Falls. This is not the case. This hospital is one of the finest I have ever been to and they truly offer amazing care. In the past few weeks I have watched them be amazing with my grandmother in the ICU, give great treatment in the ER, do amazing surgery, and the nurses and care (especially 4 West) is as good as it gets. Did I mention they have a top notch GI department.
