How does billing work? What is included in your Well Child Care appointment? Read this helpful description of some common billing questions.

Insurance and Billing

We take PPO insurance plans. Please check with your insurance company to make sure we are part of your plan. You may call our office first to speak with our staff and get our tax ID number.

Payment Options

We accept checks, cash and credit cards. We also accept payments on our portal for your convenience.

Do you schedule Meet and Greet sessions?

We have paused our Meet and Greet sessions secondary to the COVID-19 pandemic.

What to bring to your first visit?

We work hard to ensure that your child receives prompt medical care in a comfortable, child-friendly office setting.

What to Expect

On the day of your child's first visit to our office, we recommend arriving a few minutes early. This allows extra time to complete registration forms and ensures you have plenty of time to get acquainted with our staff and office. We look forward to meeting you and joining with you to help your child maintain optimal health.

Parking

Parking is available at the Adventist Health Glendale hospital parking lots. The nearest one is the West Tower parking structure, adjacent to the Emergency Room. We are unable to validate parking.

Privacy and Security

The privacy and security of your health information is very important to us. We will protect your information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Our Patient Portal secures the information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment. All communications occur over a secure connection.

Online Payments

The online payment function provided in the portal adheres to PCI Compliance guidelines, thereby providing some level of security for transmitted transactions and transaction data. These provisions protect your financial information, but should not be considered perfect.

Non-Urgent Matters

The Portal should never be used for urgent matters. If you have symptoms that may require medical intervention or treatment in a timely manner, please call the office (818) 246-7260, call 911 or go to an emergency room, as appropriate under the circumstances. The Portal is not a substitute for appropriate and timely contact with your provider.

Agreement to Terms and Conditions

If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, please exit the Portal immediately.

When was Greenvale Pediatrics founded?

Greenvale Pediatrics was founded in Hoover in 1974 by Drs. David Glasgow and Donald Palmer. The practice was purchased by Children’s of Alabama in July of 1996 and today operates three offices which serve patients ranging from newborns to college age. The Alabaster office opened in 1980.
