What services does GirlTalk&gynecology offer?

Our practice provides a wide range of women’s health services including gynecology, preconception counseling, menopause management, PMS and pelvic pain management, endometriosis, adolescent gynecology, hysteroscopy, weight management, and more. Over the years, GirlTalk & Gynecology has grown to include Dr. Maribeth Loynes and Nita Mercer, FNP-C.

Your First Visit

Our goal is provide you with excellent healthcare and a positive experience. We understand that women connect with conversation and have unique medical concerns. Your first visit is all about getting to know you. We will review your personal and family medical history and address questions or concerns you have about your health.

Patient Portal

Our Patient Portal allows you to communicate in a secure and confidential manner with our practice and your healthcare team. If you have a medical emergency call 911.

Insurance Information

We accept most major insurances such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Cross Federal, Cigna, Aetna, Medcost, TRICARE-Standard, as well as many other subsidiaries and secondary carriers.

What is a patient portal?

The Patient Portal (the “ Portal ”) is an Internet service, powered by athenahealth, Inc. ( “ athenahealth ”, “ our ”, “ us ”, or “ we ” ), which allows patients and other authorized users to coordinate and manage their medical care with their health care providers. This privacy policy (the “ Policy ”) describes the practices of the Portal with regard to information about you that we obtain through your use of the Portal. We offer the Portal on behalf of our Covered Entity clients ( “ Clients ” ), as a Business Associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ( “ HIPAA ” ).

How to discontinue patient portal?

You may discontinue your use of Patient Portal at any time by sending a secure message to your primary care provider's office requesting this change.

How to find recent charges payable?

Click the Billing tab. Your recent charges will appear listed under Recent Charges Payable Online.

How to sign out of a portal?

Click the Sign Out link at the top right of the screen. Alternatively, if your keyboard remains idle for 10 minutes or more, you will receive a pop-up window asking if you are still actively using the portal. If you do not click the OK button, you will be signed out automatically. Any information you have typed and not saved or sent will be lost.

Does the Patient Portal have a link to other websites?

Can you delete messages from the Patient Portal?

You cannot permanently delete sent or archived messages. This is because all messages that you send and receive in the Patient Portal are part of your medical record. top
