Gifford Medical Center. Gifford Medical Center, a Critical Access Hospital in Randolph, Vermont, is the heart of the Gifford Health Care system. Nationally recognized for its importance in serving our rural community, it has remained a central hub of high-quality medical care in Vermont for over 110 years.
Outpatient appointments are generally available between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays, with schedules varying by department. For patients’ convenience, primary care appointments are also available on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

As a family medicine physician Dr. Borie enjoys seeing a baby for a well-child exam and then later in the day seeing the great-grandparents. He loves nursing home care as well and is strongly committed to caring for his long term patients towards the end of their lives. Teaching is also very important to Dr.
Kate Clemente knew from an early age that she wanted to work in health care, inspired in part by her mother, who has worked as a PA since the 1970s. As a Vermont native, she finds making connections with patients the most rewarding aspect of her work, and is drawn to Gifford’s sense of community.
Dr. Coxon has interests in internal medicine, mental health, and care of chronic conditions for children and adults. He is particularly active in counselling and collaborating in the prevention of illness. His goal is to help patients to set and achieve their long-term health goals through shared decision-making.
Family nurse practitioner Eva Linden enjoys working with people of all ages, assisting them to achieve their wellness goals. She is passionate about providing education, preventative medicine, and comprehensive and compassionate care. She works to create a comfortable, open environment and to build lifelong relationships with her patients.
Nurse Practitioner Rachel Salloway is passionate about helping to ensure access to high-quality preventative medicine in rural areas. She enjoys working with patients at all stages of life and has particular interest in providing care to older adults, women, and patients with diabetes.
Rebecca Savidge joined the Gifford family in 2013 as a Certified Physician Assitant working in family practice at the Chelsea Health Center. She enjoys coming to work in a rural area where each day is different and poses its own challenges. One of the highlights of Rebecca’s job is forming relationships with the diversified patient population.
Dr. Seymour works in Family Medicine out of the Bethel Health Center, practicing the spectrum of family medicine from pediatrics to Geriatrics. He’s been with Gifford for more than 30 years. “I especially enjoy the relationships I have established with patients over that span of time,” Dr. Seymour says.
