What is GGC clinical?

With a referral from your pediatrician, primary care physician or other healthcare provider, GGC can provide genetic evaluations and if necessary, diagnostic genetic testing.

What is a GGC consultation?

During the consultation, a GGC healthcare professional will review your medical and family history, conduct a physical examination, if necessary, and provide information and counseling regarding genetic testing, inheritance patterns, and other topics related to the condition.

What is the Greenwood Genetic Center?

Research – Research programs at the Greenwood Genetic Center focus on identifying genes responsible for a variety of conditions, as well as understanding the underlying mechanisms of the conditions and developing diagnostic tests and treatments. Our research teams have expertise in many areas of genetics including intellectual disability, birth defects and autism.
