Dr. Subha Aahlad joined Foster City Pediatrics Medical Group in 1994 after completing her residency at the Kaiser Permanenete Medical Center in San Francisco. Her professional interests include Neonatal Intensive Care, Travel Medicine, Asthma and General Pediatrics.
An Ohio native, Dr. Christine Hung joined Foster City Pediatrics Medical Group in 2001, after completing her residency at Children’s Hospital Oakland. Her medical interests include preventive care, child development, and asthma. She enjoys caring for children of all ages, especially infants and toddlers. Dr.
Dr. Bennett Smith joined our practice on August 10, 2020. He is accepting all new patients and works two days per week in our office. His most recent role was as an Attending Physician in General Pediatrics at UH Rainbow Kids in the Sun and UH Rainbow Ashtabula Pediatrics in Ohio. He has a strong interest in preventive medicine.
We recommend routine well child visits at 3-5 days, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 2 years, 2 1/2 years, and yearly after 3 years. At this time we offer either in-person check-ups or video (Telemedicine) well visits.
Please call your pharmacy with any refill requests. Your pharmacy will contact us for authorization of the refill. Please allow 24 hours for your request to be processed. Unless urgent, refill requests should not be left with the answering service after hours or on weekends.
Immunizations protect your child against several serious, life-threatening diseases. Your child should have shots according to the following schedule. If your child’s shots are not up-to-date, call your health care provider’s office for an appointment.
