Admission

Upon arrival to Fort Washington Medical Center, please check in at the Information Desk located in the main lobby of the hospital. If you are admitted through the Emergency Room, your health care needs will be assessed to determine the best course of treatment.

Our History

In the late 1970s, residents in Fort Washington explored the idea of establishing a hospital in the area. Their dream was partially realized when the Fort Washington Ambulatory Care Center opened in 1983 as a 16-hour emergency treatment facility with outpatient surgery.

Dr Williams is fantastic. She has been my physician for many years and is extremely knowledgeable, explains everything and has a great personality Sadly the office staff is horrible, never answer phones and rarely return calls. Office manager included.. On top of that they are rude. This is a multi year problem.
