Is Fort Sanders a stroke center?

Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center is accredited by The Joint Commission, recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality and commitment to meeting certain performance standards. Our stroke program at Fort Sanders is certified by the Joint Commission as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, one of only a handful of facilities in our state.

Is Fort Sanders a tobacco free hospital?

Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center is a tobacco-free environment. As a healthcare provider, it is our responsibility to provide a safe, smoke and tobacco-free environment for patients, visitors, employees and the medical staff. Vaping and e-cigarettes are also prohibited.

Patient Registration

We understand that your time is valuable and want your visit to be as quick and efficient as possible.#N#During your visit, you may be asked to fill out registration and consent forms. You may choose to pre-register by downloading, printing and completing the forms and bringing them to your appointment.

Fees and Insurance

Our goal is to provide you the best possible health care. For that reason, a clear understanding of the recommended medical treatment and financial responsibility is essential. We encourage you to discuss costs with our staff.

Directions and Parking

Coming from East or West I-40 take the 17th Street exit and head South on 17th Street. Turn right onto Highland Avenue. Take Highland to 19th Street and turn left. Trustees Tower is located on the corner of 19th Street and Laurel Avenue.

Parking

We are located at 501 20th Street in Suite 203, Knoxville, TN 37916. Ample parking is available in the parking garages located near our office in the Fort Sanders Professional Building.

New Patient Registration

On your first visit, you will be asked to fill out registration forms. You may choose to pre-register by downloading, printing and completing the form below. Just bring it to your first visit. Completing the form prior to your visit will help speed up the new patient registration process.

We are here to help get you enrolled. Submit an online request or call us at (865) 374-5260, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. If you are asked to leave a message, we will call you back as soon as we can during business hours.

Medical records prior to July 2018

Hospital records from before July 2018 can be obtained by calling Covenant Health Information Management at (865) 374-5269.

Claiborne and Cumberland Medical Center medical records
