Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine (HWCOM) is pleased to provide you a Patient Portal to be used exclusively for FIU Health patients. The patient portal is a secure online website that provides you 24-hour access to your personal health information.

Welcome to FIU Health, the Faculty Group Practice for FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. Our doctors are accredited faculty members at the College of Medicine, and FIU Health serves as a teaching site for our medical students.

What are the rights of the patient user in the patient portal?

The use of the portal is privileged for the patient user; therefore, FIU Health reserves the right to terminate, suspend user access, and modify services available through the Patient Portal. FIU Health strives to keep medical record information accurate and complete.

COVID-19 testing

COVID-19 testing at Student Health is offered to currently enrolled students based on test availability and by appointment only. No walk-in or drive-up requests are accepted during this time. If you believe you have been exposed to COVID-19, or are experiencing symptoms, please call us at 305-348-8385 to schedule a Telehealth visit.

Clinic hours currently are Monday - Friday: 8 am - 5 pm. For clinical, non-urgent issues outside of business hours, please call our after-hours line 305-348-2401, option 2. If you are faculty or staff, please reach out to FIU Health at 305-348-3267.

Telehealth

Telehealth at the Student Health Clinics is using electronic communications to provide or get health care services. You can get health care using your smartphone, computer, or other mobile devices. You talk with your health care provider using video chats or messaging through the FIU Health Portal.

After hours

A nurse is always available by phone for urgent conditions when Student Health Clinics are closed. To discuss a concern, call 305-348-2401 option 2 for the MMC Campus or 305-919-5620, option 2 for the BBC Campus. A nurse will take your information and give you advice on how to address your situation.
