What is family eye clinic?

The Family Eye Clinic & Contact Lens Center is a full service eye clinic. We provide care for our patients as young as six months on up to the special needs of our senior population. Our optical departments provide not only the best looking eyewear around, but our opticians are skilled in providing the latest in lens technology for every need and activity.

What is an FSA account?

Flexible spending accounts (FSA) allow you to deduct pre-tax dollars from your paycheck and then be reimbursed for health-related expenses up to a specified amount, as determined by your employer. FSA’s often expire on December 31st, requiring you to use those funds, or lose them. They usually do not “roll over” to the next year. Eye examinations, prescription eyeglasses, and contact lenses usually qualify for these programs. Don’t lose your FSA funds. Use those dollars before the end of the year, by purchasing a new pair of eyeglasses or contact lenses!

On-Site Services

Lab results are provided to our patients by phone in most cases the following day.Immediate results are available on in-office testing for strep, mono, flu, urinalysis, blood sugar, and pregnancy. We offer EKG screening, breathing treatments, several vaccines and drug screening.

Minor Emergencies & Urgent care

Sometimes doctor visits are not planned and you don't want to wait for hours in a hospital waiting to be seen. We are equipped to care for most lacerations, contusions, sprains, burns, foreign body removal, eye injuries, toenail removal, and wart I skin lesion removal.

Healthy Savings

We are an independent medical provider and participant with most insurance plans. At this point we do not take medicaid. We also have low cash prices for people without insurance.#N#Many of our patients manage healthcare costs by using health savings accounts or have high deductible plans to better utilize health care dollars.

As a Community Service

School, sports and camp physicals are offered. It is not necessary to be a patient here just call us and make an appointment to receive this service. Children under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent unless prior arrangements have been made.

Referrals for Specialized Care

If necessary, our primary care physicians will provide you with referrals to specialists or other institutions that we know and trust. We communicate with these physicians to ensure comprehensive care is being appropriately provided.
