What eye doctors accept EyeMed?

How do I access my EyeMed account?

Visit eyemed.com and click on Member Login. If you're an existing user, welcome back! Just log in with your username and password. *The use of either your SSN # or Member ID is determined by how your benefit administrator registered you in the system.

How do I pay my EyeMed bill?

How can I pay my EyeMed Vision Care bill? You can pay them directly on this website. Or pay on doxo with credit card, debit card, Apple Pay or bank account.

How do I print my EyeMed card?

It's simple. Log into Member Web. Click “Account” in the top menu bar, and then “Print My ID Card.” Select Print, and you're good to go. Don't forget: the EyeMed Members App can show your ID card too.

Does Medicare cover eye exams?

Medicare doesn't cover eye exams (sometimes called “eye refractions”) for eyeglasses or contact lenses. You pay 100% for eye exams for eyeglasses or contact lenses.

What is an OD?

An optometrist is an eye doctor who has earned a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree. This is a four-year degree in addition to their standard college degree.

Can I submit EyeMed claim online?

Click below to complete an electronic claim form. Go green and get paid faster. Complete and return the following paperwork. If you will be using electronic assistive devices to complete the form, please use the online form.

Will EyeMed pay out of network?

Are out-of-network benefits covered? Out-of-network benefit coverage is provided, but members must pay for services first. Rather than use of out-of-network providers, EyeMed Individual and Family Vision Plan members already have access to a very large network of independent providers and retail locations.

How long does it take to get reimbursed from EyeMed?

Please allow at least 14 calendar days to process your claims once received by EyeMed. Your claim will be processed in the order it is received. A check and/or explanation of benefits will be mailed within seven (7) calendar days of the date your claim is processed.

Does EyeMed cover online glasses?

The best way to use your EyeMed Vision Insurance is to buy eyeglasses online at Eyeglasses.com, and then submit our receipt to EyeMed for an out-of-network reimbursement.

How often can I get glasses with EyeMed?

Members will receive a $130 frame allowance every 24 months in-network depending on your plan. Any amounts over this allowance will be reduced by 20% by the participating provider. If a member buys a second complete pair of glasses, they will receive a 40% discount. How are contacts covered?

Does insurance cover contact lenses?

On average, insurance plans allow $150 for contact lenses or glasses. Check with your employer or insurance provider to get the details of your plan. Keep in mind that most insurance plans require that you spend all of your exam fees and materials allowance in one transaction.
