What online services does Nvision® offer?

From refilling prescriptions to scheduling upcoming appointments—we provide a full suite of online services to make it easier for our patients. NVISION® offers our patients online access to aspects of their individual health care through a Patient Portal.

What conditions can Vision Therapy treat?

It is used to treat eye conditions, such as strabismus (eye turn) or amblyopia (“lazy eye”). Through Vision Therapy, a Doctor of Optometry also teaches, improves and/or reinforces important visual skills, such as eye tracking, eye focusing and eye teaming abilities.

We request updated Vision Plan and Medical Insurance information when scheduling your appointment. Prior to your visit, and as a courtesy to our patients, our team will verify your insurance information as provided to us.

Vision Plans

The knowledgeable staff at Envision Eyecare is experienced in working with vision plans. We will work directly with you and your vision provider to submit claims regarding your vision care. We strive to ensure that you understand your coverage and will answer any questions you may have regarding your benefits.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Many employers offer Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) options for employees. Sometimes these are referred to as cafeteria plans and are elective, supplemental insurance savings plans. They are designed to let you save money in an account, pre-tax, to pay for medical expenses such as eye exams, glasses, and contacts.

Other Payment Options

Our Asheville optometry staff understands that cost is a concern when evaluating vision care providers. We do not want cost to be an obstacle to maintaining proper eye health and good vision. We accept various forms including cash, check, and major credit cards, as well as CareCredit.

Adults and Children Policy

To best care for our young patients, children between the ages of 4-15 years old are expected to have their parents or guardians in the office with them throughout the duration of the exam experience.
