What are the patient portals and how do they work?

Our patient portals are a convenient way to securely view your personal health information and interact with Penn State Health. They play a key role in your heath care - providing a 24/7 connection to the information you need to make better decisions.

How do I make sure I am receiving patient portal emails?

To ensure that you are receiving Patient Portal emails please do the following: Add NextMD.com to your contact list, address list, safe list, or "Do Not Block" list. Account will be locked for 20 minutes after 4 failed login attempts. Please remember that password is case sensitive.

Who can use the Penn State Health Portal?

A patient will use this portal, if you have been hospitalized at Hampden Medical Center, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center or St. Joseph Medical Center. Most patients who attend a Penn State Health Medical Group in Dauphin and Cumberland counties will use this portal. Please call your outpatient clinic to verify.

Virtual Visits

If you have a virtual visit with me, you can click the "Enter waiting room" button below. I currently use Doxy.me for virtual visits, which is an encrypted, confidential, and secure video-conferencing platform. If the link below is not working you can click here to go to the website.

Established Clients

If you are already a client, you can contact me using my email or phone number. Otherwise, in the client portal you can see any past or upcoming appointments, join some video sessions, and can manage your payment methods. Note that I do not use the messaging feature of Owl Practice yet.
