What is ERH diagnostic imaging?

ERH’s Diagnostic Imaging department employs the latest equipment and procedures, expert technologists, and reassuring personal care. Technologists teaches clinical echocardiography, radiologic technology and ultrasound to students from colleges and technical schools who are completing their clinical rotations at ERH. We are training a new generation of technologists on-site and maintain the high standard of excellence that you would expect in a teaching hospital. ERH Imaging will save time and anxiety by helping to reach a speedy and accurate diagnosis.

Is ERH a good test for breast cancer?

Early detection of small breast cancers by screening mammography greatly improves your chances for a full recovery. ERH is a beta site for a new and more accurate kind of digital mammography, known as a CAD system. Compared with conventional mammography, CAD mammography can read the density of tissue and distinguish cancerous vs. non-cancerous tissue with great accuracy.
