Thank you for trusting Effingham Ambulatory Surgery Center (EASC) with your care. Your health and safety are most important to us. EASC strictly follows the recommendations from the CDC and guidelines established by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) to help ensure your safety as the surgical staff begins performing surgeries again.

Before Your Surgery

A pre-op nurse will contact you one week prior to surgery, and three days prior to surgery to screen you verbally.

Is there a chance my surgery could be cancelled?

Yes. Initially, IDPH cancelled elective surgeries to help ensure there were enough hospital beds and personal protective equipment available for a surge of COVID-19.#N#IDPH could suspend surgeries again if the following happens:
