To reply to the patient or to send new messages, the user can select the “Reply to Patient” button at the bottom of the web message. The eMsg window will appear. User can type the message and “Send”. The patient will be notified via email that a new message awaits.
To open a new eMessage, click on “Send Message” in the Hub. Although the options in the messaging screen suggest that voice and text/SMS messages can be sent from eCW, in general, this is not true. There are a few text messages set up by eCW administrators that can be sent, but regular users can only send eMessages.
