Peripheral nerve. Your peripheral nerves are those that are not in your brain and spinal cord. What is open surgery in spine?

Traditional spine surgery is performed as “open surgery,” meaning the area of focus is opened with a long incision, allowing the surgeon to view and access the area of concern.
