About Us: Zhang Medical Associates was established in 2021 by Dr. Hua Zhang. We are committed to providing the highest quality of care to all of our patients.

How did Dr Zhang become a doctor?

Dr. Zhang received his Doctor of Medicine degree and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering in China. He earned a PhD in Biosystems Engineering from Michigan State University followed by an internal medicine residency. He then completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York.

Who is new Indiana oncologist Dr Zhang?

Professional Notes

Dr. Zhang is board certified in Internal Medicine with a particular interest in preventive health and diabetic care. She is also bilingual in Chinese and English. Dr. Zhang previously served as the Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine residency program at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Personal Notes

Dr. Zhang was born and raised in China. She came to United States in 2004 to study at Old Dominion in Norfolk, Virginia. There she met her husband who was serving in the US Navy. She and her husband lived in San Diego for 5 years after which they relocated to St. Louis so Dr. Zhang could complete her residency training at St Luke’s Hospital.
