She completed her pediatric internship and residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso in 1993. She promptly earned her Board Certification from the American Board of Pediatrics in 1993, and she is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Cristina Mims FNP-BC is a born-and-raised Houstonian who graduated with a BSN degree in 2012 from the University of Virginia School of Nursing. Returning to Houston, Cristina worked as a nurse in the emergency room at Memorial Hermann and earned her MSN degree in 2014 from the University of Texas Health Science Center, becoming a family nurse practitioner (FNP). She has practiced as an FNP since 2015, primarily seeing pediatric patients in the urgent care, allergy, and ENT settings. She earned an Emergency/Trauma Post-Masters Certificate in 2015.
