I always have a little difficulty answering the question, "Where are you from?" I was born in Kansas, grew up in Washington, D.C., then the family moved to Texas. My father was in the Army (Vietnam Veteran) for the first part of my life, so we moved to several posts until he decided leave military life. I have wanted to be a doctor from age 12.

About my practice

When I started medical school, I did not know what specialty to choose. It was not until I did my first Ob/Gyn rotation in my third year of medical school that I felt like I was at home in medicine. I love the practice of medicine and surgery that Ob/Gyn allows. Women's health is both complex and simple.
